This is a spell binding story of romance, tragedy and suspense. The main characters, Nelke and Tobias are both young Teutons who manage to fall almost immediately in love. But then a completely unexpected Teutonic event turns all their plans and desires into ashes. Their future together has virtually no chance of taking place. Can Nelke and Tobias ever regain hope for their budding love? It looks seriously doubtful and the feeling of the story becomes hopeless. To add to the suspense, along comes a reclusive forest witch and a cursed priest with ideas and aims of their own. How can all these complicated events and mix of personalities ever result in anything short of disaster?
